Current Openings:


Paint Stripper

Removal of Paint on Aircraft

  -Clean, mask and prepare aircraft for stripper

-Apply stripper to aircraft and parts

-Manually remove residual paint

-Degrease landing gear and other "no strip" areas

-Hand scrub entire aircraft and parts and pressure wash

-Additional responsibilities as required

-Must adhere to policies and procedures to maintain safety of oneself and other staff members

-Must work with ladders and staging, wear a respirator and other safety equipment as needed

Painter Prepar

Responsible for Aircraft preparation for paint

  -Remask aircraft for paint

-Degrease and prepare surfaces for paint

-Scuff, sand, epoxy primer on aircraft and parts

-Inspect masking and make any repairs for final paint

-Inspect and prep door jambs as required

-Etch and alodine any exposed aluminum

-Blow aircraft and parts off completely to remove any dust

-Wash aircraft and parts with pre-paint wash solvent

-Wipe aircraft and parts with a tac cloth

-Blow aircraft and parts off fully with an ionizing air gun

-Prep stripe layouts for paint and prep aircraft for clear coat

-Additional responsibilities and duties as necessary

A & P Mechanic with IA

Oxford Aviation is seeking an A & P mechanic with IA to work in a full time position at our

highly successful refurbishing and maintenance facility.  Very good benefit program.  Position starts at $50,000. per year with opportunity for rapid advancement.  Send resume to office@oxfordaviation.com 

A & P Mechanic

Upholsterer
